The blanket on top of me was very thick and seemed to go on forever. When I finally got it off, my eyes focused on the moving forms coming through the door. The NAKED forms walking though the door. She didn’t notice me right away, if they did at all. I turned my head away and stared to the right of the couch were a massive featureless metal wall stood. The grooved pattern in the metal seemed more interesting than ever at that moment.

And then Skylar ran in approaching me quickly until he stood directly in front of me and the couch, blocking my view of the naked hotties. Timmy was nice looking but he had nothing on these guys.

My pulse was still ringing in my ears from the rush of blood to my head, so I didn’t quiet here the conversation. I heard a few of them say sorry and got a glimpse of a few of their retreating rears as the escaped down a long hallway.

“Skylar, what in the FUCK is going on?” all in one second I could feel all of the blood drain from my face. I had to tip the dead weight atop my shoulders completely back in order to his face.  “What was that thing back there? What attacked me!?”

“That was a vampire,” he said still standing.

“A vampire?” I asked skeptically.

“Oh, come on Nami! You can’t honestly tell me you’re questioning wither vampires are real. You saw one! And you saw me, I’m real, right?”

I nodded, “But I thought they only had two fangs.”

“Oh they have two incisors the rest of their teeth are just razor sharp.”

“I see, how comforting,” I said, sarcasm dripping from my mouth like saliva.

“Can I sit?” he asked as he made the motion.

I answered just as he sat down, “yeah.” The couch cushion slumped under his weight and my body went from being perpendicular to the couch to being at a 45 degree angle to the right, nearly tipping my whole form over.

Skylar draped his long, muscular arm over my shoulders. Then using his hand, gripped my body closer to his, tucking me between the back couch cushion and his warm body. It was oddly comforting. I didn’t feel as exposed with him so close. And I hadn’t thought about the other four boys until they started coming back to the room.

One by one the boys emerge from the hallway and took seats in the living room. One of them sat to the left of me. Two of them, who looked like twins, sat on the other couch. And the last two sat on the floor, leaning against a pile of pillows. They were all extremely good looking, had handsome smiles, but most noticeable of all were ginormous.

“Is this her?” one of the twins asked. His face was more indifferent than the others, but the interest was there, in his voice. He looked from me to Skylar and then he looked scared.

I looked up at Skylar and saw him staring intently at the twin. He didn’t blink or say anything, his expression was just fierce.

“Wh-What I meant to say was, my name is Dane.” He smiled, gesturing towards himself.

“This is my twin brother, Austen,” he pointed to his spitting image, who waved to me.

“That next to you, on the couch, is Cress.”

“Hey,” he was by far the most model like in the group. With his sharp features and perfect face.

“And over there,” Dane continued. “On the left is Wyatt and the right is Harland” both of the boys waved and smiled.

“And this is . . .” Skylar prompted.

“I’m Naomi.”

“We know who you are.” The one named Cress said. “You’re the one Skylar spends hours talking to on the phone every night.”

He didn’t look angry but he wasn’t smiling either. “Ah, I’m sorry?”

“Oh, no need for that. It’s actually nice to hear a girls voice every once and a while it’s been a month since we’ve even seen one.”

“Wait you listen in on my phone calls,” I turned to glare at Skylar. “They listen to our phone calls!?”

He looked guilty as charged. “Well . . . I guess. It’s just, our hearing is so good, even with the phone off speaker, and they could hear us all just as easily.”

I felt a blush creeping on my face. “Since all of you know about me how about you tell me a little bit about yourselves.”

I froze and tensed as every one of them except for Cress and Skylar got up and then came to sit in front of me on the floor. Skylar grabbed my hand and gave it a squeeze.

Now in front of me from left to right sat, Harland, Wyatt, Dane, and then Austen. I was doing my best not to freak out. I mean, I have a boyfriend and everything, but being surrounded by so many good looking guys can really make your nerves shot up.

The good thing was that they didn’t seem to notice. I think they were glad that I wasn’t freaking out and trying to get away.

“Maybe later,” Harland said, is deep voice shaking my core.

“We want to hear about you,” Wyatt added.

And then, in almost completely in sync, Dane and Austen said, “Tell us about Timmy.”

My eyes budged out and my pulse began to pound.  My face was burning.
I frowned down at my legs which were exposed and I suddenly realized they were freezing.

“Why is it so cold?”

“You’re cold?” Skylar asked concerned.

“Yeah, it’s like FREEZING in here.”

“Hmmm, it feels fine to me.”

“Well I’m telling you it like a blizzard in here.” I shivered and goose bumps rose up all over my hands and arms.

All of the boys around her stood up, Skylar included and then scattered everywhere.

“You get her a blanket,” Skylar commanded.

“I’ll get her some hot coco,” Cress stated.

“Oh, that’ll be good.”

“I’ll make her some soup. What kind should I warm up?”

Skylar walked back to the couch and crouch down in front of me. “Chicken or vegetable?”

“Ch-Chicken, I guess. You don’t have to-”

“She wants chicken, Wyatt!” I was interrupted by Skylar’s loud attractive words.

“I think I’m just going to go . . .” I slide myself off the couch, landing next to Skylar’s couched figure. I hated attention, Skylar knew that.

He gave me a pained look before standing up to his full height, towering over me. Now I was shivering not just from the cold.

“Oh, whoops,” he said before crouching back to the floor so we were almost at eye level.

“Nami, I think you should stay here tonight. The vampires might still be out there. We managed to kill off most of them, but a few got away.”

I sighed loudly and said, “Just until morning?”

He smiled but it was sad. “Yeah, just until morning. What will make you more comfortable?”

I looked over his shoulder eyeing the boys running around getting things for her.

“Is it the guys? I can tell them to back off. Or we could watch a movie, no one talks during a movie.” He reached out to grab my forearms. “Oh, shit you really are cold.”

“Yeah, no shit. What’s the temperature in this place?”

Dane walked over, declaring, “It’s 55 degrees. I know that is cold but honestly to us it
feels like it’s 75 in here.”

Austen walked over and sat back in a chair. “If we turn the heat up we’ll all suffer.”

“Here are some blankets.” I jumped and turned around. After craning my neck up, I saw that Holland stood there, holding multiple blankets out to me. “It’s easier for you to get warm than for us to get cool. Give us guys a break?”

I nodded, what good would arguing do? Its one average and cold human to six hot giant werewolves. . . I’d say my odds were against me. I just took the blankets and hoisted myself back onto the giant couch.

Skylar grabbed the blankets from me and air them out, letting it splay out, before placing it over my body. Just after I pulled my arms out from under plush fabric an abnormally large bowl of soup was thrust towards me. I took it, letting it rest on my lap.

“It’s a little hot. Be careful.” Wyatt looked the most boyish of the bunch. Maybe just 14 or so.

“Thank you.” I smiled before taking a spoonful, blowing on it thoroughly, and then sliding it between my lips. The soup was delicious, even though I assume it probably came from a can.

Everyone had made it back into the room and were now back in their original positions, staring at me.

Skylar stood up and walked over to the TV, turning it on. “Hey guys, Naomi’s favorite show is coming on soon. Why don’t we all watch it?”

All of them nodded but Dane looked skeptical, “What show would that be?”

I smiled at Skylar, elated finally, after such a crappy night.

“Guys . . . we’re watching The Vampire Diaries.”

The chorus of groans and moans that filled the room brought an evil smile to my face.
So I like this story. I sort of have a direction for it . . . but not really XD
